I worked as a pearl culture technician for almost nine years. I thesis on the blacklip pearl oyster, Pinctada margaritifera, for my M.Sc. Degree in zoology. I wrote a paper on Myanmar pearling and it was published in Pearl Oyster Information Bulletin. You can find some interesting effort by Myanmar technicians to get a breakthrough in seeding.
